IBAX 2024 Summary Q1
The first quarter of 2024 has come to an end, and here we summarize the work progress of the IBAX team during this period.
In the first quarter, our technical team mainly focused on optimizing the compiler, fixing known issues in the virtual machine, improving language documentation, and enhancing development tools.
Regarding compiler optimization, we optimized error prompts for arithmetic operations, context data transmission in the compiler, error message display in the syntax parser, and array out-of-bounds issues in lexical analysis, enhancing the robustness and usability of the compiler. Meanwhile, we fixed multiple compiler logic defects, such as function return value handling, unary operations, expression evaluation, and multiple assignments, improving the correctness of the compiler.
For the virtual machine, we resolved known execution exceptions and adapted it to the optimized new compiler for the contract language, ensuring compatibility between the virtual machine and the compiler.
In terms of documentation development, we launched a brand-new technical documentation website, localized the contract language documentation, optimized the compiler interface documentation and lexical analyzer output formats, enhancing the readability and usability of the documentation.
Concerning development tool optimization, we completed the syntax checking functionality for the DApps packaging tool, optimized the tool’s prompts and syntax highlighting, and adjusted the compiler configuration structure, improving the tool’s usability.
Overall, this quarter, we persisted in continuously optimizing the compiler, virtual machine, documentation, and tools, laying a more solid foundation for the stable operation of the contract language and the developer experience.
While iterating on the technology, we also closely monitored community operations and development. We continuously kept the community users updated on the latest project progress, including technology iterations, ecosystem building, offline events, and more through weekly reports, maintaining good information transparency.
We closely monitored questions raised by users on various social media platforms and promptly responded with explanations and solutions, patiently addressing various issues users encountered during usage.
To express our gratitude to the users who have silently supported us, we periodically held Giveaway events on Twitter to reward our users.
We actively engaged in discussions with projects entering the DeFi ecosystem to explore cooperation opportunities and expand the application scenarios of our project in the DeFi domain.
Despite the numerous challenges ahead, we remain steadfast in our pursuit of technological innovation. We deeply understand that outstanding technological capabilities are the key to driving the project’s progress and realizing our long-term vision.
In 2024, we will devote ourselves wholeheartedly to development work, concentrating all our efforts to overcome technical hurdles tirelessly. Through relentless coding, testing, and optimization, we will continuously solidify the product’s functional foundation, enhance performance, and deliver an exceptional experience to our users. We will resolutely confront every problem and challenge head-on until we achieve a comprehensive solution.
While technological prowess is crucial, we also recognize the critical role of operations in the project’s success.
