Weekly Report - June 24, 2024

1. New Node Deployment Optimization

We've resolved the issue of slow contract loading into the world state during new node deployment. The data loading algorithm has been optimized, significantly enhancing parallel processing capabilities.

2. Transaction Structure Refactoring

We've completed the redesign of transaction-related structures. The new design splits the original monolithic structure into multiple sub-structures, including header information, inputs, and outputs. This new structure is expected to substantially improve transaction processing performance.

3. Transaction Processing Pipeline Mechanism

We've designed and implemented a preliminary pipeline mechanism for low-level transaction processing. This mechanism divides transaction processing into multiple independent stages, each managed by a dedicated worker thread pool.

4. Underlying Data Engine Optimization

We've initiated the restructuring of the underlying data storage and indexing design. More efficient data structures and algorithms have been introduced, and the data read-write separation mechanism has been optimized."
